Life Built on Landscape, Art, and Purpose

Designing outdoor environments, for me, has never been just a profession—it’s been a lifelong calling rooted in creativity, between nature, and human connection

With over 30 years of experience as a Designer, Consultant, and Speaker, I’ve dedicated my career to crafting outdoor environments that are both timeless and deeply personal. My work is driven by a passion not only for design, but for the relationships and collaborations that bring each project to life.

Where It Began

My journey started simply—with a lawn mower and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. At a young age, I found pride in maintaining properties, which quickly grew into a curiosity about the natural world. I continued by working in a local nursery that expanded that curiosity into knowledge—learning plant care, placement, and the subtle art of how landscapes come together. Those early experiences laid the groundwork for what would become a lifelong pursuit.

From Passion to Profession

I went on to study Landscape Architecture and Garden Design, where I developed the technical foundation behind my creative instincts. Through formal education, mentorship, and hands-on experience, I refined an approach that blends structure with artistry.

Over the years, I’ve continued to evolve—learning from industry leaders, collaborating with skilled professionals, and contributing to community and educational programs.

Beyond the vision of my work

While my career has been deeply fulfilling, my greatest grounding comes from my family.

I’m a proud husband and father of three my families support has shaped both my life and my work. They are a constant reminder of what truly matters—connection, balance, and purpose.

I also believe in giving back. Whether through mentoring, volunteering, or sharing knowledge, helping others grow has become an important part of my journey.

The Journey Continues

Like any meaningful path, mine has included challenges, failures, and lessons learned along the way. Each experience has strengthened my perspective and deepened my commitment to the craft.

And if given the choice, I would do it all again.

Because landscape design, at its core, is about more than creating beautiful spaces—it’s about creating a life and legacy rooted in passion.
